These performances offer music – lots of it familiar, some of it new and compelling – performed in something of a unique way. Musically speaking there are many ways to go for your event. Our way is to open up the Spanish, or Classical Guitar to a wide variety of musical genres. This approach lends itself so well to many different occasions and settings – and seldom fails to delight! The unaccompanied guitar has an enormous range, which includes the incomparable music of J.S. Bach, the Brazilian masterpieces of Antonio Carlos Jobim and Luiz Bonfa, and the romance of music traditionally linked to the Spanish Guitar.

But the wonderful sonorities of the guitar work as well for music you may not expect to hear without accompaniment. George Gershwin, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lennon-McCartney, Henry Mancini, Hoagy Carmichael or Jerome Kern played on unaccompanied guitar – wait till you hear it! Even with amplification (carefully tailored to your group size) the poetry of this instrument is captivating.
